At Process Risk, we make every effort to protect your privacy when you interact with us electronically, by phone or in person. The purpose of this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is to document the privacy practices of Process Risk, LLC and its affiliated entities (“Process Risk”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) with respect to Personal Data  that we may collect.  The Privacy Policy applies to Personal Data we obtain from or about our clients and it applies to all forms of data handling (online, hardcopy, including that provided through our website).  If we obtain Personal Data we will process such information in accordance with any contracts or other agreements established with that client. This Privacy Policy does not apply to Process Risk employees, however does apply to information collected about prospective job applicants and former employees.  The most current version of the Privacy Policy can always be reviewed by clicking on the “Privacy Policy” link located in the footer of our website pages.

 Process Risk markets consulting services and the types of information collected would be related to that activity.  Some typical types of Personal Data may include:

  • Contact information for project proposals and or contract awards such as contact name, job title, company name, mailing address, phone numbers, email address, gender, service interests, source of information, events attended, correspondence and notes related to our business relationship with the customer),
  • Payment information (including credit card information, billing address, and bank account information),
  • Résumé and related information for those applying for a job or serve as a subcontractor / teaming partner.


When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products, and other updates.


How do you get my consent? When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

You may change your mind regarding information provided at any time.  We provide the option to sign-up/opt-in to receive marketing campaign emails, newsletters, or other communications from us.  If you would like to discontinue receiving this information, you may update your email preferences by using the “Unsubscribe” link found in the communications, by emailing back “unsubscribe”, or by contacting us by phone or email using the “Contact Us” link in the header.


We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.   We may be required by law enforcement or other public authorities, as well as judicial authorities, courts or tribunals, to share Personal Data with them or other parties. We will disclose Personal Data upon receipt of a court order, subpoena, warrant, or other legal process to the extent necessary to meet legal, national security, public interest, or law enforcement obligations, or defend our interests in legal, administrative or other proceedings, which may require us to share Personal Data with other parties to the proceedings and their external counsel. We reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we in good faith believe to be unlawful.

In certain events, such as business transactions, sale or legal restructuring:  Some or all of our assets may be acquired by another company, including through a sale in connection with bankruptcy, we will share the information that we hold with that company. We may also buy or sell all or part of our business or the business of a third party. All or part of your Personal Data may be transferred to a new business or owner as a result of such transactions, in accordance with applicable laws.

We do not sell your Personal Data to third parties or otherwise disclose your Personal Data to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. 


In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.  Our website includes links to other websites whose privacy practices may differ from those of Process Risk. If you submit Personal Data to any of those websites, your information is governed by their privacy statements. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy statement of any website you visit.

Social Media 

The Process Risk website includes links to social media, such as the Facebook Like button, and LinkedIn and Twitter widgets. These features may collect Personal Data about you such as your IP address and which page you are visiting on our website. They may set a cookie or employ other tracking technologies to accomplish this. Social media features and widgets may be hosted by a third party. The Personal Data provided to those third parties is governed by the privacy statements of the companies that provide them.


To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with an AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.


By using this site, you represent that you are at least thirteen (13) years of age and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.  If you believe that an underage child may have provided his or her Personal Data to us, please contact us by phone or email using the “Contact Us” link in the header. In the event that we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from a child under the age of thirteen (13), we will dispose of that Personal Data immediately.


We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
